Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mothers! I am not getting to see my sons today but one sent me flowers, one sent me an Amazon package and another had brunch delivered to me. I'd say I'm pretty blessed. Hope all of you have a day full of fun and laughter with your little ones. They grow up so fast!
Supply pick up will be on May 19th from 8:30-10:30. You will need to drop off book bags at that time as well.
I have begun sending out progress reports. You will receive them over the next couple of days. You have
the option of signing up for a conference (phone or
Google Meet).
There are 7 activities this week. The math, science and social studies activities are easy and quick. There are 3 reading/writing activities. These need to be done in order. They are a research activity. The first 2 are pretty short but the third, writing the research paper will take much longer. Give your child as much support as you feel they need. We have done this in class together and they know how to write down facts from informational text. Let me know if you have any questions.
This will be the last week of required work. The week of May 17th will be optional.
Week 6 - Pittman

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! As we continue to learn from home I wanted to let you know about some great additional resources. Epic is a great online source for wonderful books. Epic is offering free 30 day trials. For math explore Arcademics. This site offers a variety of free games, search by subjects to practice counting, addition, subtraction and more. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing you in class meet ups! If you would like help with any additional resources or you have any questions please let me know!
Have a great week!
